1. Draw the basic shape of your kitchen — include walls, doors, windows, and any fixed features (vents, radiators, etc.).
2. Label each wall (e.g., Wall A, Wall B) for clarity.
3. Mark where appliances, plumbing, and electrical outlets currently are.
4. Measure and record the positions of:
   • Gas lines
   • Vents or ducts
5. Measure from the nearest corner to the centerline of each outlet or pipe.
6. Measure the full length of each wall from corner to corner.
7. Note any protrusions or recesses (pipes, support columns, soffits).

1. Record the height of the room from floor to ceiling at multiple points and go with the shortest height for average height.
2. Use a level to check if floors, walls, and ceilings are straight.
3. Measure diagonally from corner to corner — if both diagonals are equal, the walls are square.

For each window or door:

1. Measure the width and height of the opening.
2. Measure the distance from the corner of the wall to the edge of the trim (not the door frame).
3. Measure the distance from the floor to the bottom of the window and from the top of the window to the ceiling.
4. Mark the direction the door swings (in/out, left/right).

Please take photos of your kitchen and/or bathroom walls. Include:

• Each wall that new cabinets will be installed on
• A picture of the kitchen/bathroom as a whole
• Any existing features, outlets, or fixtures that may affect installation
